Gowanus Canal Trivia Battle

The only Trivia Night on the Gowanus Canal, where you get the chance to go head to head with 2x Jeopardy Champion, Matt Lisiecki! Hosted by 0x Jeopardy Champion and comedian, Kami Dimitrova, this night will bring you classic trivia, with fun characters, games and prizes, including a $50 bar tab for the team who wins the battle! Kami Dimitrova is a comedian based in Brooklyn. She hosts a podcast called “How Do You Hustle?” and interviews comedians about their day jobs while they pursue their dreams. She has performed original characters around the city, including at the UCB as a member of Characters Welcome. She was the host of Scary Mommy’s live trivia show game show on Facebook and has been seen on national spots for Popeyes, Bud Light and Dunkin Donuts. She studied improv and sketch at The Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and Second City in Chicago. In her past life, she was a journalist at ABC News.

Matt Lisiecki knows trivia. Scion of a family no longer willing to play Trivial Pursuit with him, Matt’s bar trivia career has taken him around the world, garnering fabulous prizes in far-flung locales, such as: Madison, Wisconsin; Quito, Ecuador; Punta Gorda, Florida; and our own fair borough of Brooklyn. In 2018, Matt’s trivia career culminated in two victories in the syndicated trivia program Jeopardy!, where he was only vanquished thanks to his opponent’s occult powers (well, that plus a fatal weakness in knowledge of poetry). He now brings his trivia might to bear as co-host of the Gowanus Canal Trivia Battle—be afraid.
