David and Katie Get Re-Married

"David Carl and Katie Hartman are explosive dueling forces of nature." - BestNewYorkComedy.com

A dark comedy about the worst couple in the world on the second happiest day of their lives after the first happiest day of their lives didn't work out. You are cordially invited to the second wedding of David and Katie (with none of their family or friends who don’t believe in their love anymore) to celebrate their love.  This confidently codependent couple will teach you how to love correctly through original music, exotic rituals, and a unity volcano. This time it'll stick! For realz tho!

David and Katie Get Re-Married was work-shopped and had a run at The People's Improv Theater (The PIT-NYC), won "Best Original Music" and an encore performance at Frigid Fest 2019 NYC, and toured to Colorado Springs Millibo Art Theatre in January 2020.

Written and performed by David Carl (Gary Busey's One-Man Hamlet, Trump Lear) and Katie Hartman (Netflix’s The Week Of, Just For Laughs). Directed by Michole Biancosino.

"this talented duo display not only crisp comedic timing and a rapturous chemistry, but also an impressive musical proficiency, particularly in the three well-crafted and uproariously funny songs" -Across the Margin

"As funny as the marriage antics are, Carl and Hartman are also impressive lyricists and musicians who harmonize really well together on their four original songs in the show." -Theatre is Easy
